What is Covered under Furniture Protection Plan?
Product Details:
We will cover the costs of repair or replacement of the Furniture if its damaged or lost due to:
- Accidental fire
- Theft
- Accident or misfortune / Unforeseen circumstances occur during the service period, up to the actual purchase price (after discount).
*A small excess of 1% (minimum RM100) applies to each claim.
What's Not Covered under Furniture Protection Plan?
Exclusions:
1. Other Insurance or Warranties:
- We don’t cover if another insurance policy or the manufacturer's warranty already covers the damage. This includes recalls and pre-existing damage.
2. Add-ons and Normal Wear:
- We don't cover extra parts you add to the furniture after purchase.
- We don't cover damage from normal wear and tear, gradual deterioration, or routine maintenance.
3. Misuse and Neglect:
- We don't cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, improper use, or not following the manufacturer's instructions.
- This includes damage during loading/unloading if not done carefully.
4. Intentional Damage and Theft:
- We don't cover damage caused by you or your family intentionally or through negligence.
- If your furniture is stolen, you must report it to the police within 24 hours for coverage.
- We don't cover damage when the furniture is left unattended or in a vehicle without proper precautions.
5. Cosmetic Damage and Minor Issues:
- We don't cover purely cosmetic damage that doesn't affect how the furniture works or its safety (like scratches or dents).
- We don't cover malfunctions fixed by simple cleaning or maintenance.
6. Specific Events and Costs:
- We don't cover damage from nuclear events or terrorism.
- We don't cover delivery, shipping, diagnostic, or cleaning fees.
7. War and Civil Unrest:
- We don't cover damage caused by war, invasion, civil war, riots, rebellions, or terrorism.
